Designed high fidelity web UI for Blood and Oxygen Access Trust (BOAT) by LifeBank. LifeBank has donated 14,178 blood units to health centers since launch in 2016. BOAT provides free blood and oxygen to low-income patients identified by doctors, it is supported by funds from corporate partners. Over 6,000,000 NGN has been raised since the website launch.

Practical Ecology Trainee
Participated in a Residential Biology Field Course for 5 days which provided the opportunity to study habitats in Dale Fort Field Centre situated in the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park. The field course included the study of Ecology - the interactions of organisms with each other and their environment. The discovery of natural selection, adaptation and evolution were taught and applied in various experiments carried out in salt marshes, beaches, fields and large rocks using quadrants, sprints levels, and other equipment. The use of statistical analysis with the results obtained was thought and practiced e.g. Chi-square test, plotted graphs, Simpson’s index.

Full day in Babraham Institute Cambridge, experiencing bioscience research on 2 different allocated projects alongside institute scientists and PhD students: Protecting your surfaces: we looked in depth at the number, distribution, and shape of specialised white blood cells in the top layer of the skin using a high-powered microscope, we then analysed our cells using flow cytometry. The distinct labeling pattern enabled a reliable identification and classification of each cell type. Visualisation of intracellular membranes and proteins using immunofluorescence microscopy to look at the distribution of several proteins within animal cells.

Active participation stimulated a sense of adventure and fostered true appreciation and concern for the environment and people, encouraging the re-examination of ideas and values. Upon successful completion, I was awarded a badge of merit to acknowledge my discipline and determination.

Participated in a Grand 2020 challenge in the selection of an urban community in need of development; an isolated primary school was chosen. The funds raised from organised activities were used to improve de-constructed classroom conditions and provide toilets, enabling a more conducive learning environment for the children. The team later represented Nigeria in the EduCare Global Issues Conference themed 'WHAT ABOUT NOW?' in the American School of Doha, Qatar on the 10th -12th March 2010.
